As you make your way through the game's numerous chapters, you get to know your main character, Kanata, and the rest of the story's characters even more. Just like in the other Tales saga games, the narrative in Tales of Crestoria carries just as much weight as the battles. When you carry out a certain number of attacks, then you can do your special attacks. In turns, you must choose between various abilities for each one of your characters, keeping in mind that some attack types will be more effective against certain enemies than others. The battle system in Tales of Crestoria is very similar to the one you find in many traditional JRPGs. The game has a completely new character cast and a story set in a fantasy world, with a little more darkness than the franchise's other releases. Tales of Crestoria is a new JRPG within the Tales saga that has been specially developed for cell phones.
